Our Roots

At Heron View, we trace our roots to the alternatives platform built within AIG, where members of our founding team institutionalized and scaled a tightly constrained portfolio on behalf of one of the world’s largest financial conglomerates. We managed that portfolio through periods of growth and volatility, including the Global Financial Crisis, refining our discipline and strengthening our conviction along the way.

Our Capabilities

Following the spin-out into PineBridge Investments, we continued to serve as a core private markets team within a global asset manager. Over the subsequent decade, we expanded our capabilities, deepened long-standing manager relationships, and helped pioneer approaches to private equity investing that are now widely adopted – spanning primaries, secondaries, and co-investments.
